One of my best builds
MehMream✓ Verified Purchase•June 9, 2023
The build was really good and the instructions were readable, although some parts may need better grip such as the gold parts
Some parts flimsy

Nice looking once completed. Easy to follow in but some parts little flimsy, best suited for display only
Excellent quality, lots of fun!

I've done quite a number of LEGO and quasi-LEGO kits for adults over the past few months, including other automobiles. Although I enjoy doing them all and always like the look of the finished product, this Nifeliz Retro Sports Car K500 exceeded my expectations.
I found the instructions easy to follow. The gold-plated pieces give it a real "wow" factor. The design is very pleasing. Best of all, the finished product is comparatively sturdy. So many auto models by LEGO and other companies are extremely frail--handle them too tightly or pick them up too quickly and pieces start coming off. The Nifeliz Retro Sports Car K500 is much sturdier than that. Don't get me wrong, you can't give it to a three-year-old to race around on the floor! But for a model to display on the shelf and to show people without fear that it's going to crumble in your hands--it's very, very nice!
Steering wheel actually turns the front wheels; open hood to see engine; doors and trunk open; rumble seat opens. Fun!

On the whole, it's a very good set.

This is my first time building a set by Nifeliz, so I went in with the usual 'low expectations' that one would expect for a set that didn't 'originate in Denmark', especially given the reasonable price point.
I will say that on the whole, I find the set to be quite a good value for the money. Not without flaws worth noting, but really quite good still.
The good : parts quality is almost all very good, with extremely tight tolerances resulting in a very, very solid build. It does require 'gorilla grip' in more than a few areas which makes it less suited for younger builders, but this is not necessarily a bad thing. The manual print quality is excellent and the instructions are clear and fairly easy to follow. The set -design- is very solid, using interesting techniques only where needed, and mostly consisting of fairly simple, old-school build techniques.
The strange : The photos of the set in the Amazon listing -are actually inaccurate- at a few points, not having properly adjusted some angled parts at the very rear of the car (fender tips do angle inward towards the trunk to get the right body line) and also at the very front (white part behind the gold front bumper should have wings pointed up at a fairly sharp angle to join with the front fenders to give the impression of the connections for that part of the car). It winds up looking better than it seems.
The not-so-good : Where the parts quality is bad, it is noticeably bad. Some parts are not chromed on areas that face outwards, resulting in white facing where it should be gold, and a few of these parts are far less well-fitted than the normal bricks, requiring 'extra measures' to hold them in place. A few other parts (that I was admittedly able to bury deep in the build) had small black spots that will not come off no matter what. The cross-bar connecting the steering through the engine bay is maybe 1/8th of a stud too long, resulting in difficulty getting the steering fitted well, and adding a lot of friction that probably shouldn't be there.
Also of note, the assembly of the front fenders requires removal of the front bumper and some very non-intuitive repositioning of supports to enable them to be installed, and the instruction manual cuts off the last step or two that details installation of the wheels. This last point could be easily forgiven if the wheels weren't 4 pieces each, and it's super easy to miss the flat round stud in the middle of that hubcap.
So, yeah. On the whole, 4 stars. I will be buying more sets from them ... as long as they don't involve chromed bricks.
