I used this coax cable for the signal on an outdoor mount TV antenna. The weather boots are a good idea, but for my specific application they actually got in the way of screwing the connector onto the antenna connection. Fortunately, the antenna has a weather boot that covers the connection, so the connection will be protected.
I did a test of the antenna signal with the cable at the full 50' length, and it worked fine. I bought the cable intentionally too long for my installation, cut it to length and put my own coax connector on. Again, no issues.
