Affordable cutting mat with large work areae

I had a much skinnier cutting mat I've used for several years but decided to look for a replacement with a larger surface area. This mat is great, and cost wise is a fabulous purchase (compare the price at my favorite fabric store and it isn't even close).
If you're still cutting out patterns and fabric with scissors this has a low enough price point that you can test out the waters for rotary cutting for a modest outlay. You'll need of course a rotary cutting wheel.
My only suggestion (across the board) would be for cutting mats to come with some kind of overlay guide -- it can be tricky to keep a cut on a straight line when your material covers the lines. I haven't figured out a good solution for this yet other than to back my material off several inches so that I can see a few inches of the cutting mat and "try" to roll my rotary cutter straight. (But maybe that's just me - I don't have the best of super fine motor skills which is one reason why using a rotary cutter turns out so much better than scissors).
