I saw some people complain that product evaporated before they could use much, so I did NOT replace the original cap with the screw-on dropper cap, which is made of soft rubber. I suspected the product would evaporate through the soft material of the dropper and instead kept the original cap on the bottle. Works great, no loss/evaporation of product when kept this way.

I must say it's one of the best purchases that I've ever made on Amazon. I recently used it in bottle of. Instant dry topcoat that had become icky thick. Wow! Three drops and my topcoat is as good as it was the day I bought it.

I took almost a dropper full of this to loosen up some very, very thick old polish but fortunately you get a lot in a bottle. It has loosened at least a half dozen bottles of pretty old stuff (I'm talking about 3-6 years old here) to a very pleasant usable condition and I have barely made a dent in the contents of the thinner. I used it with lots of polish brands-- everything from LA Girl to Essie and OPI and I don't see any loss of quality in the polish after adding this product. If you've got a lot of old nail polish I'd say its worth a try!
