Nice mower, pain to setup

The only negative is that it didn't come with anywhere near enough wire. I guess I have too many things to go around in my yard, pool, storm shelter, fire pit, etc. I needed about 200' more but had to buy a 500' spool ($85 at the hardware store). The mower is very quiet and does a nice job. Laying the boundary wire is a pain but I knew that up front. Well worth the trouble once done. I haven't needed tech support but I'm sure it's there. You'll need additional wire and connectors but other than those all you need is in the box. A good buy for what I spent, great for a smallish yard.
Mows well, setting up is a lesson in frustration.

I turned on the mower and paired it with bluetooth. Easy! Then it booted me and I could never get it to connect again. I contacted tech support, and they said it needed the wires installed and the complete system set up to work.
After installing the boundary and guide wire, and making sure my lawn was super short to begin with, everything was operational except the app/bluetooth connection, and thus the mower only had basic controls. I tried everything, connecting over and over, attempting to re-pair, updating the lawnmower firmware. Nothing could get it to ever reconnect again. Tech support ended up sending me a box to send it in for repairs.
A few days after sending it they told me they had updated the firmware and it was working fine. I got it back and to make a long story short, am still having issues with the app not wanting to connect and having to delete/re-pair the mower every time I try to change anything.
The mowing part is great. The mower has never gotten stuck on my yard, never gets lost, always makes it back to the dock. However doing anything with the app is pure misery, and thus monitoring or trying to alter any settings on the mower is torture.
EDIT: After considerable trial and error I figured out that turning the Bluetooth function off and on again right before connecting to the mower, or if the connection fails, works almost every time. If you are having trouble try this!

The blue tooth setup should be replaced with WiFi. You need to be pretty darn close to the machine for the blue tooth to work. In that sense, it is hardly a truly remote operation as you must go outside and be near the machine to set up your programming. The written instructions are a bit complicated and not that easy to follow. However there are numerous helpful videos available online. It is not very clear from the written materials how to obtain additional supplies such as boundary wire, connectors, cutting blades, etc. Also the videos are not specific to the machine I purchased but I was nevertheless able to figure it out and I was able to set up the particular machine I purchased.
Once all set up, it works pretty well and I really like it. I definitely give it a thumbs up.

It worked great all summer last year 2022 but when I went to start it up it in Feb would not charge the battery station was wet should have taken it in but trusted that it could stay out in the rain even cover it with a cloth but it didn't help it The light stays on blue instead of charging I looked all over the net for a station charger it's not a year old yet If any body can't get back to me on the issue I sure would like it It would be nice if they had replacement parts to buy for these robots the blades are on so tight Can't even get them off to change them Thanks Jane
