Follow the directions to stabilize it (clear intake port) before taking measurements seriously. There are others who placed this against more expensive models- look to them for honest reviews on accuracy. For me, it appears to be close- shows what it should depending on where I am in my lab and what I'm using with it. If you want better, be prepared to spend $3k.

I love this thing. I'm a professional Instrumentation Engineer and amateur mycologist. This is the best and funnest thing I've purchased in a long time. I just leave it plugged in and displaying all parameters all the time. I measure the amount of particulate coming out of my laminar flow hood, my fresh air filters, HEPA filters, etc. I measure CO2 levels in my tubs and in my clean room, humidity, temperature, etc. The measurement feedback is highly valuable and worth much more than the device. Love it.

Since lahaina big fire i didn't trust officials to tell me the how the air quality was, I purchased this item and turn it on when I got home.
It keeps when the air is out of range and so far the pm2 range matches what the purple air sensors are which is 4 streets from my house.
Easy to charge and it lasts a while.
Also measures co2 and other stuff I don't really know but hey as long or doesn't beep at me, I know its working.

I live in an area heavily affected by wildfire smoke. Our world is changing. I use it along with a cheaper indoor meter and air purifier to determine when I need to run the purifier. I've learned that my well insulated house holds in a lot of CO2 when the windows are closed... CO2 quickly quadruples. Particulate outside skyrockets with the the smoke. Great devices.
