I ordered the smaller size, but I should've ordered the larger size so my recommendation is if you have a modern zoom lens that looks fairly large get the large size regardless of what they recommend.

If you shoot photos through glass, this lens hood is fantastic! It's stiff enough that it doesn't flop down and cover your lens. Once you press it against the glass, it clings like a suction cup, so you can keep both hands on the camera. It slides easily along the glass, if you have to move to get the shot. When it's not mounted, it lies flat, so it's easy to tuck in your bag.
