Not the best but not the worst either

Pros: Music sounds fantastic, plays a lot of mp3 music that other mp3s won't play, great battery life, small and portable, cheap.
Cons: Sometimes start a new song before finishing the old one, can't rewind or fast forward, doesn't support MP4 videos as it states, navigating is kinda wonky and takes some getting used to, the headphones that come with it are very short and the wires attached to the actual bud that goes inside your ear clack louder than the music, doesn't come with sd card. No Bluetooth either.
All in all I can honestly say it's worth the price. The controls take some getting used to and you definitely need your own headphones and sd card but it's a great MP3 player once you get past those things. I'm happy with my purchase and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a cheap MP3 player just for your music.

My 8 year old daughter (was 7 when she used this originally but it broke and we got this replacement) had not problem learning how to use this. She was very happy when she got this replacement. We are not an ipod family, no children have phones or tablets so if you're the type of family that needs an easy way to tap and play this is not for you. The buttons have a hard mechanical click feel and the graphics are archaic but it functions exactly to what we need it for, a simple mp3 player for our girl's bus ride.

Nicely made little MP3 player. I purchsed 5 of these players, 4 worked beautifully and 1 has a little problem with the USB connector. I'll try to get it replaced. The buttons look like an iPod but they function differently. Since I've never used iPods, this did not cause a problem for me. I purchased these to use in a classroom Listening Center in which young children need to be able to plug in, turn it on, and listen to a book. This has been working very nicely for us. Basically, I turn it on, Select Menu, use the arrows to move forwards/backwards, I look for Music, click Menu to select that item. Once I'm playing a recorded book, the center button will start/stop the playback. Then I just press Menu again to return to Main menu, and turn it off. When I turn it on again, it returns to the Music selection and starts automatically. Easy-peasey!! Easy enough for 7 year olds and for me! Now, to see about exchanging or replacing that one player.....
