Good but not great. For the price it was acceptable. Finding a receiver bike rack rated for heavy electric bikes and capable of holding one with fat tires and one with regular tires for a reasonable price is not easy. I figured I would give this one a shot as it looked like it would work on paper. It did work but not as easily as it may look. First, the instructions are correct in the assembly if you look at those diagrams. If you look at the pictures on Amazon, you will see some with the wheel holder installed backwards (taller end out). Maybe for a really short wheel based bike that would work. I put this together based on how it looked in the pictures and how I thought it should to get the locking bar to work right but neither bike would fit. With the front wheel in the holder, the back wheel was off the end of the bar. Needing to leave for vacation the next day and after a moment of panic, I went back to the computer and looked at the pictures. It was then I realized some were correct and some not correct. The tall end of the wheel cradle goes to the inside and once you do that the bikes fit fine. Now to fastening them down. Well again it looked good on paper. The locking bar is nice and sturdy and easy to move. The problem is most people don't like getting water and mud splattered on themselves so bikes have front fenders. The locking bar is made to go on top of the front wheel in front and against the frame. It cannot with the fender in place. This means it cannot go in the correct position to hold without the possibility of just popping off. With the wheel cradle reversed like I had them initially in the wrong position, the locking bars could have been on the frame behind the handlebars and not on the wheel itself. That doesn't work with the cradles in correctly so I just used some small cam lock straps. One to hold the wheel in the cradle (there are nice slots for a 1" strap to go through) and then I strapped the locking bar in place on the top of the wheel. Problem solved. On the back I also used a cam lock strap because I don't really trust the one rubber strap provided with my $2500 bike. I then put a piece of foam between the bikes and strapped them to each other. It was solid for 460 miles each way. I even wrapped the bikes in plastic so no salt spray from winter roads would get on them. While it could use improvement, overall I am happy and would buy this again.

We specifically went looking for a sturdy rack to haul our e-bikes. First, some context - my wife and I have Velotric Nomad e-bikes. These are chunky bikes with a 49" wheelbase and 4" diameter fat tires weighing in at 73lbs each. Our preferred biking spot is 40 miles away over what can only be generously called "paved roads" found in northern Michigan (I know you know what I mean). Our transport vehicle is a Kia Telluride. That said, we needed a beefy carrier that could take 150lbs of weight and a lot of bounce. The Marvoware carrier proved to be perfect for our needs. Assembly is "relatively" easy and mounting the bikes is easy to do. It's a small nit but because the safety bar rests on the front bike wheel, I remove the front bike fender when I transport the bikes. It's not a big issue but worth noting. In transit, the bikes are perfectly secure and have a very small range of movement. At the destination, it's easy to remove the bikes and fold the carrier flat to minimize overhang. Overall, perfectly suited for our use case.
