We only use a steamer for our clothes. Period. Can't fight with an ironing board and all the trauma of unintended creases and the constant shifting of the garment on the board to reach all edges. If you use a steamer, you'll understand the ease of hanging a garment on this unit, and the satisfaction of wrinkles disappearing in minutes. You can steam blouses, dresses, mens work shirts, and clip pants to the clips for easy steaming. My husband was hesitant when I ordered it, but now he loves it. It swivels 360 so you drape a shirt and then swivel the rack to steam the backside. We're really happy with it. Of course, you have to have a good steamer, which we do. It does not come with the steamer. If you're looking to fold it up and stick it in a closet, the tripod legs do fold up for easy storage. You sort of have to take it apart to store it. Basically we leave it set up in a corner of our room, and we love it.
