My First ever setup and it worked out great. A long with this purchase I also pick up HIFIMAN Arya Stealth Magnet Version open back headphone, and balanced cables. All I can say is they did a great job building this amp/dac.

I bought the Amazon renewed version of this for a good price. When I connected the unbalanced SE cable to my Ananda and HD 820, I was fairly happy but wasn't that impressed with the sound. But boy, when I connected the balanced ( mind you I didn't believe balanced improved audio as much and made it just louder) sound is rich, warm , punchy and melodic. Never heard anything like this before.
