I am very loyal to K&H pet cots and I purchased this bed to go on top of the size large cot because it fits exactly. I was so happy with the quality of this bed that I purchased another. It is a memory foam pad (of great, thick quality) with a cover that has a nice zipper so that it can be removed and washed. Since buying the first one they have made the slight change of enclosing the memory foam part in a "silky" pillowcase type covering that makes it much easier to slip the cover on and off over rather than trying to get it to slide across the memory foam without the cover. Love that this slight change was made! Very pleasantly surprised with the simple, high quality construction and design of the cover and memory foam insert, Great Bed!

Before I could get both beds down for my girls, they decided the would try it out. (the little bed on the top is the one that goes in my Jeep for them when we are traveling.) They absolutely love the beds. I have 2 beds and as you can see they are big. My girls are BIG girls weighing in at 80# each!!

Measure so you know what your getting. I got a bigger one and this is a large dog pin it fits great. My dog threw up on it one time and I was able to un zip it throw it in the wash and put it back on. Now I have taken and extra step and I added my own protective liner between the cover and the padding. Because I have had to throw a different brand away before. And I like this one. And I want to make sure I can keep it. It's soft and thick so my dog likes it. So I want it to last if I don't get to the mess fast enough. Because the padding can't go in the washer like the outside can. But I do love it. And so does my dog. At night he walks right in there and doesn't complain at all.

We've purchased 2 of these in this size, the first one was chewed/shredded by our goldendoodle pup when we put it in his crate! Now, it's used as a bed for him in the living area! & has never been chewed!! He uses it all the time! The cover washes wonderfully! An interesting point is that the 1st one (the one he destroyed!) had a covering over the foam-between the foam & the zipper cover; the 2nd one (replacement for the one he chewed) didn't come with the covering over the egg crate foam. It's not as easy to get the zipper cover back on, but it has kept the foam clean. We ordered the next size up (the X large) to use in the bedroom; it came with the covering over the foam! They wash well; I dry them on low heat! We've had them both over 6 months and they almost look as good as new! I would order again if I needed to & would recommend them highly!
