This will be a Christmas gift for our 15 year old son who is an avid gemstone collector. He has several small amethyst clusters as well as carved ones. We know he will be very excited to have this because he also collects rocks and he will love the look of the carefully carved basalt rock along with the beautiful deep purple amethyst cluster.

The media could not be loaded. This is my first time buying Amethyst cluster. I was quite nervous with this purchase. I had no idea how big it'll be, if it's real, treated or what. Looked at many other shop on Amazon but decided to go with this shop. Honestly, it's because this was bundled up with a Selenite stick.
But I have to say, my cluster was adorable. It's like an egg! I weighted it, and though the description said it is only up to 1/2 lbs, mine is 3/4 lbs (12.13 oz). The dimension is about 5.5 cm, as you can see in my video (my Rubik's cube's dimension is 5.5 cm x 5.5 cm). Good amount of crystal vs basalt.
I'm not an amethyst expert so I won't be able to comment much about the rock itself. But it is cold to the touch and it does make me feel energize. Either way, I really like this EGG! What is the chance that I get such a cute little shape!
