I looked at rowers for awhile trying to find one that would work well for both me and my husband but still be easy enough to move around/save some space. So far I am very happy with my purchase! Its easy for me to move around so I can watch tv while I use it. At first I wasnt sure the resistance was going to be enough but trust me, once you're doing it for a little bit you definitely start to feel every bit of it! I guess if I had one complaint, I don't find the seat very comfortable but I got a cushioned pad for it so my tailbone doesn't hurt as bad when I am on it for awhile. Overall, like i said before I am very happy with my purchase :)

I really like this machine!

Assembly of this machine took a little effort. It wasn't difficult but the written instructions weren't necessarily easy to understand so I definitely watched the video. Also I couldn't find the video link anywhere so I just youtubed it. I also had a very small issue with 2 washers being labeled as one size, but not fitting the bolts they were for. It worked out, I just swapped them with other washers but it was a small QA thing that was a little annoying. Overall it came together in probably 20-25 min by myself. It feels fairly sturdy and well put together.

I am by no means a rower professional. I was looking for something quiet that I could put in my living room and just do short burst workouts while I watch TV whenever I get the urge. This has really been fitting the bill for me! I'm 5'7, around 230 lbs and I have no problems fitting on it or getting a full range of motion. My husband is about 6' and also gets a full range of motion. I like that the feet have a little bit of motion to them so you can really get a full leg extension. The seat moves very smoothly and really makes it feel like you're on a boat or something. It is also incredibly quiet. It has some noise from just having a wheel turning but you can easily hear the TV over it. You could absolutely do this exercise while people are sleeping. I also feel like it has a good amount of tension! I have it on the lowest setting so I can do it longer while watching TV, but the highest setting would definitely tire me out quickly.
It is a very full body workout! The first time I did it for about 30 minutes and the next day was sore all over! You especially feel it in your back and arms if you're not used to it.
The additional phone stand is actually quite big too and sturdy so you could easily put a tablet on it to watch shows if you have this in a separate workout area!

My biggest complaint with the system is that 1) The handle bars aren't very padded so I could see developing blisters if you do it a lot consecutively and 2) You have to be careful to really keep the bars centered in the middle when you pull or else you might get the chord off track. 3)The seat is not very padded- it's mostly comfortable but does start to get a little sore after a while (kind of like when sitting on bleachers)

Overall my three "big" complaints are really pretty small. It requires no power so you can put it wherever, it folds up so you can store it, and is really quite fun for me. I love that you can go as easy or as hard as you want on it. I'm very happy with my purchase and if it gets me moving for 10-30 min a day then that's a win in my book! :)

I am new to rowing, so I really did not want to invest a lot of money until I tested out how much I would use it. I like the idea of a total body workout in a short amount of time. This rower definitely accomplishes that. I feel like I get a good workout in 15-20 mins working legs, arms, back and core all the while getting a cardio workout. I also like that I can adjust the resistance as I grow as a rower. I started on 2 and have just recently moved to a 3 on resistance. That leaves a lot more levels to go, so I will not "out grow" this machine as far as resistance levels. If you are looking for the ability for strong resistance, you can have it. The biggest negative is that the slid rail sits at an angle. I called the manufacturer when I first assembled it because I thought there was something wrong when I noticed the incline. They said it is intentional for a better leg and glute workout. I have not decided if that really bothers me or not when I am working out. My issue is that the pictures online are flat and not at an incline. They need to update the pictures and description to more accurately describe the rower. I have included a picture to show the slight incline or the rail. The other thing that I am not thrilled with is the monitor. It is cheap and does not add a lot to the workout. I only use it for a timer and that has twice messed up and started over after reaching 10 minutes. I pulled it out and reinstalled it. So far it seems to be doing better. It does feel cheap so I do not put a lot of faith in it. I do love how quiet the rower is. You can easily listen to the TV or music while rowing.

This borders on something you might find in a gym. Heavy gage steel, quality construction, very quiet, and a good range of motion.
I'm 6'2" 250 pounds, the range of motion is good for me, sometimes reaching the back bumper on the seat slide but still able to get full motion. The frame holds my weight easily and feels very sturdy. The display is basic, easy to navigate, and has more info than I would use personally.
The only down side that my 250 pounds would change is the seat padding, but I just put a little cushion on top and its fine, it probably wouldn't bother a lighter person.

Great product! Feedback breakdown below:

SETUP: Entire setup process (unboxing, directions, assembly, cleanup) took about an hour and a half (would have been an hour except for a few assembly mistakes on my part that had to be corrected).

NOISE: This thing is QUIET. I've used several models of rowers, and this one is in a league of its own. You could easily use this next to a room where someone is sleeping and never disturb them.

TENSION: I was pleasantly surprised by how much tension it generates. I'm a fairly strong guy, and after about five straight minutes of pulling at the highest setting, I decided to knock it down a few degrees to do the rest of my workout so I didn't get worn out. (Has 16 levels of tension.)

RANGE OF MOTION: I can fully extend no problem (I'm 6'3"). The only thing that could be a bit better is that I can't get very close to the monitor when beginning a pull "” I could still comfortably approach another 6-12 inches, but the stops prevent the seat from getting that close.

HUD: The monitor is fairly basic in the information it offers, but I was pleased to see the calorie tracker seems much more accurate than most other equipment (like ellipticals that tell you you've burned 500 calories after a 20-minute workout). Also can show time, number of pulls, and other basic info. Has a nice spot where you can also set a phone or tablet if you want to watch something as you row.

COMFORT: Very good. The seat is better than some high-end models I've used at gyms. The pedals where you place your feet are a little strange, though. There's a chance I didn't quite put them together the way they're supposed to be, but each pedal has a bolt going through it that attached directly to the main frame. However, this bolt is directly under the middle of your foot, and the bottom of the pedal doesn't have a bolt THROUGH it "” it has a bolt UNDER it that the pedal rests on. This means if you put any pressure on the ball of your foot, the pedal flips/rotates away from you rather than staying seated securely. You shouldn't really be putting pressure on the balls of your feet while rowing anyway, but you definitely have to be cognizant of this while using this equipment or the pedals will continually be moving as you're pulling.

OVERALL: I'm very pleased with this purchase. Considering the price and function, I would absolutely recommend this product.
