With an 18-year-old who is a constant movement of energy.. this was a past time for him growing up! Nothing like resurrecting his skills during pandemic but, he found elementary yo-yos quite tangled..!!! With his forgotten enjoyment of this toy- I set out to find an option that was solid but, wouldn't break the bank.. and the MAGIC V6 did the trick.

This is a beginner level and for one who plays for fun.. there's an appreciation for the responsive return! I recommend this for any who aren't patient or skilled enough quite yet, get a responsive yo-yo first"¦ At least util you mastered your skills!! Mine likes the weight bc of the counter pressure it creates.. it makes for a longer hang time.. which is a plus when you're not super skilled in the art! For something that will be visited short term- $14 is a respectable price point for a "professional yo-yo!" Trust me these things can get pretty pricey..?!!

I just learned the difference between a response of a non-responsive yo-yo thanks to this I guess I never knew that a nonresponsibilit was a thing growing up I always had several yo-yo"˜s did lots of tricks but all of them had that jerk of a finger return feature took me like 10 minutes after receiving this and trying to recapture my youth for yo-yo glory to figure out this year year was built different. Yo-Yos are a great thing to have. They're small and easy to take with you, so you can pull them out and practice whenever you have a few minutes, or just pass the time. When I was in grad school I always carried one in my pack, and thought it might be nice to get one for my son. So I got this for my son as a stocking stuffer. It's a big hit--it's only been a few days and he's already learned a lot about yo-yos in general, and how to do several tricks.

This is not your mass-market, packed in a blister pack plastic product. It's not top-of-the-line, but it's a serious step up from the standard plastic toy store fare; it's for someone who is getting more serous about yo-yos, or who will take to them rapidly. Inside the box is the yo-yo itself, several strings in different colors, a bearing, a soft carrying bag, and an instructional insert. The yo-yo is all metal and seems to be very well made. It spins well and balance is good. The strings are very good quality as well. And it works, if my son is anything to go by.

After that, it's on the owner to learn and practice practice practice.

The only caution I would offer for this product is because the yo-yo is metal, it's not something you're going to give to young children, or kids who are rowdy or irresponsible. If this thing gets flung, goes out of control, or is deliberately thrown something is going to break or someone could get hurt. Think cracked flat-panel TVs or broken teeth. So give this to someone who will appreciate it, use it, use it responsibly, and give them space to use it safely.
