I have no previous experience with water distillers. It was easy to follow the instructions to get everything set up and producing the first distillation. I had a few questions and customer service was fast and helpful.

The first distiller I got would run for 15-30 minutes and then quit. It was taking all day to get less than a gallon of water. I reached out to the company and since they sent me a replacement, it's been working great. I can easily get 2 gallons a day.
Works great, except anyone else have trouble with the steel tank splitting?

I've used this since April 2023 and it works great, just as described. Takes about 3-4 hours to distill a gallon of water. Water tastes good and I can use it in everything requiring distilled water. Uses charcoal filter packets that are easy to install and remove.
Then, today I opened it to use it (used it 3 days prior), cleaned out mineral residue from last use (vinegar is great for this), did not notice this split in the bottom of the tank and it dripped water nonstop onto my counter. Sadly, I'm past the return or customer service date. Not sure how this would have even happened.
I guess I will buy another to replace this as it's convenient and works well otherwise. I like the unit; this split was simply unfortunate.

I got this distiller because I was spending a fortune on DW. I use about 8-10 gallons a week. It stopped working on me 3x in the past 4mo. 1st x: the fan wasn't all the way plugged in. 2nd x: (this happened multiple times) water all over floor because I didn't make sure spigot was properly placed. 3rd and most recent, it kept tripping the power reset button on my outlet. I had apparently wet the fan while cleaning it. While I was trying to figure out what was wrong, later that evening it had dried sufficiently to start back working. As you noticed, it wasn't the product but human error that caused the problem. I use this a lot and wash it out with water and a soft scrub between usage. I also use citric acid about every 4th time to prevent hard water build-up. My only wish is that it made more than a gallon at a time.
My son use it for CPAP, I love the taste and I originally bought it for my aquarium as my city water is too hard.

So far I am loving my distiller!! The only issue I have is that in assembling the handle to the water jug, the metal strips for the handle cut my fingers in several places as it is very sharp, so much so I didn't even know I was cut until I saw blood on my hands. Also the rim of hole in the water jug lid is just as sharp. Haven't cut myself on that, but I could see it doing that.
It would be nice too if the lid actually stayed in place on the water jug. The little plastic ring that's inside of it doesn't hold it in place and I lose water when transferring it to another container.
Other than those issues it works great so far!!
