I like this sweetener. To be clear, I drink my coffee and tea black almost all of the time (yes "black" means no cream AND no sugar) but sometimes I just get in the mood for a little sweetener. The reason I mention this is because I think some people get addicted to or desensitized to sugars. Then they try alternative sweeteners and are always dissatisfied because their body is trying to fool them into thinking they don't like it. Requiring more and more to satisfy those taste receptors. Kinda like drugs.... wait a second. I hardly eat sugary foods or drink sugary drinks.

This sweetener is nice. Doesn't have that weird sticky effect on my teeth like soda or sugar. You know what I mean. It is "cleaner" in mouth feel.

It does not taste like apples like I have read others say. I did a kind of blind taste test between this and a simple syrup made from normal white sugar. I wanted to make sure the apple taste wasn't suggestive or in my mind. It definitely tastes different than granulated sugar but it isn't apples.

Like some others have said (on a different website ) the .5 -1 ratio to normal sugar is BS. Half a tsp of this stuff in a cup of plain coffee compared to a tsp of normal sugar is not really noticeable. I had to put a full tsp in to even notice the apple sweetener.

I do like this sweetener though. Its way better than fake sugars and way better than Stevia. Way better than agave and a nice alternative to granulated sugar. Stevia and agave have horrible after taste. This does not. You wont get that intense sweet like you do with sugar unless you use lots of it.

In my opinion, if you like your drinks super sweet, skip this. With how much you would need to use it probably wouldn't be any healthier and certainly would cost more. If like me you enjoy just a touch of sweetness in your coffee or tea, give it a try. Its nice.
Tasty

I really do think I'm addicted to this. It is SO deliciously sweet, a little goes a long way from its superb taste tastes. love it as a healthier table sugar substitute. Melts super well in hot and even cold drinks
VERY TASTY, great for cereal, tea and more. Like Honey, only no honey flavor

I was a little hesitant to buy this because it is in a syrup form. After trying it, I have to say I was blown away by how good it is. It taste amazing on rice cereals, in hot cereals and more. I do not prefer it for hot drinks though. It has a great even flavor and is perfect for cold uses :) Think honey sweetness without the honey flavor.
Great sweetener with no flavor but way to expensive!

I love this sweetener. Best low glycemic I've had. I personally have to use a lot for what I like to add it to, which makes it go fast so the cost is not worth it for me. My wife uses less so it lasts her longer.

Luckily I was able to find a bunch on clearance at Walmart. I'm sure it's probably a tedious process to make, thus why it's expensive. But if they are not selling and being put on clearance, you might want to rethink the product.

At the same time, against simular products it is a lower price. So maybe look for a bulk purchase to help bring the cost down.
