Maybe a bit too simple. It's essentially a bucket with a functional lid, but the lid is a bit unsecure and comes off easily, makes it prone to spilling. Lid is also not leak proof. As long as you're not putting it on an uneven surface or clumsy with carrying this sloshy thing it's all fine.
The cord is micro-usb and totally exchangeable with any other cord, and lights can turn off by holding the power button.
As with these kind of small humidifiers, they "stop" working if there's any water buildup in its vents. Dab with a tissue and there's no more issue.
