Works as intended. One thing I do wish would be different is the charging time. But it's not that much of an issue unless the car battery is really low. Charged and repaired two batteries so far and one has worked without issue (the second battery was pretty much defective but it was just old and not related to the charger). Wish the cord would be longer, but again not much of an issue. I really appreciate the easiness of changing between modes, the amp and volt display, and especially the percentage process bar that displays. Would definitely buy again.

Very misleading instructions but this charger can be used as a long-term battery maintainer or trickle charger for battery storage, etc. After the battery is fully charged, select MOTORCYCLE mode and it will go through the charge cycle again to read FULL and then will maintain the battery for long periods. Once it finishes the motorcycle charge mode, it will indicate FULL and go into standby mode. If the battery voltage drops below FULL, the charger will restart and charge to FULL again and repeat the process, thus not overcharging the battery. I have tested this mode several times by turning on the headlights to force the battery voltage to drop while leaving the charger connected. Each time it has restarted and topped of the battery to FULL and gone back into standby. The enclosed instructions are crap. I found this information on a different branded but exact same model instruction sheet. These instructions are also found in the description on this Amazon web page. Actually, this much better than a standard trickle charger because it cycles through a desulfation mode every time the charger restarts to top the battery.

I am really bad at leaving my lights on so finding a dead battery is not uncommon for me. I decided to pick this up for those time where I just could not find someone to give me a jump and I was still home. Got to use it this week and it does exactly what it is supposed to so at a amazing price. I only ding it for ease of use because you really need to read the first couple of pages to know what is going on. When you first plug it in and attached it to a typical lead acid battery is says dSF. This is the desulfur mode that it does for the first 5 min or so of a charge. You would not know what was going on if you didn't read this as dSF is not a real clear thing.

Other than it being smaller and therefore taking longer (darn near 14-1/2 hours for 600CCA standard alkaline acid battery), to charge, and really having to press the button to darned near breaking point, it's actually a solid nice little piece and it functions as it should/is advertised.
I was nervous because it was so cheap…

But it worked great in my efforts to troubleshoot my riding lawnmower problems. My BIL was impressed, so after the lawn mower gave up the ghost he bought this off me to manage all of his out auxiliary vehicle battery issues at home. If I didn't have an electric vehicle I probably would have kept it to charge car battery periodically.
We are not a handy people, but this made it easy. It didn't solve my lawnmower problem, but at least it helped me remove a potential issue at home. Also built in fan to regulate temperature during charging in sweltering summer heat was clutch.
