After hearing what's been going on with the Stanley cups, I'm even more glad I went with Beast brand. I have purchased 4 (so far) for these reasons in no particular order:
1. I dropped it and it didn't even dent!
2. When I dropped it, the lid stayed on and my coffee didn't spill a drop.
3. It's beefy AND it looks good.
4. I can customize it with decals
5. Keeps things hot/cold pretty well
6. The lid is super secure
7. Different colors to match with what I wear :)
8. Fits in my backpack's side pockets.
9. No chipping (I've had my first cup for months now; still looks just as the day I got it. I leave it sitting in the sink sometimes and nothing happens. Car cup holder, desks at work, etc.)
10. No metal taste.
Idk about you, but I dislike metal tumblers because I swear I can taste the metal. Beast brand tumbler doesn't have that taste.
To aid in that non-metal taste aspect, I don't use their metal straws. I instead bought reusable plastic straws on Amazon for about 5 bucks for a 12pack. Still 5 stars because the metal straws are a courtesy not a necessity or deal maker/breaker. I'm not buying this cup for the metal straw, ya know? I do love that you get a straw cleaner, though, those I do need :)
Not all cups have the same texture. The black has a smooth matte finish and the white has a glossy smooth texture. The maroon cup is matte but not smooth. The beige is matte and the texture is smoother than the maroon but not as smooth as the black.
It don't mind the different textures at all. Makes them pretty unique.
The white, being glossy-smooth, is great if you want to add a decal or stickers.
I add a Dethklok decal to all my Beast cups and they stick very well. The white cup, however, is definitely my favorite.
Eventually, I will buy the light blue one and another color... I'm obsessed with these cups.

It keeps hot and also cool liquids cold for long long periods of time. Just don't top it upside down on purpose because it will leak. Otherwise it's very water tight. The straws are good quality and it is beautiful. I love the handle that I got extra with it. It's a must have for sure.

This is a really good quality tumbler. Feels solid and looks very good. The finish is impeccable.
The lid fits nicely - not too tight, not too loose.
The straw is great for water-type liquids but if you want to drink thicker drinks like shakes, get a larger diameter straw.
The first one I received, I was a bit disappointed because I was getting condensation on the outside. Since all my other s.s. insulated water bottles were of the closed-lid variety, I had nothing to judge if this was normal for this type of vessel. I assumed this was normal with this type of lid. So I lived with it for several months. I had given it 3 stars because of this. Out of curiosity, and to give this company the benefit of the doubt, I did the following:
8-13-16: I emailed the company last night to let them know about the condensation on my tumbler, just to see if this is normal with this type of container\lid. They responded back within an hour, ON A SATURDAY NIGHT, and said it was not normal. They asked me some questions in which I answered later last night. They responded first thing this morning, ON A SUNDAY MORNING, and immediately sent me a code for a replacement tumbler on Amazon. Now THAT is exceptional customer service, second to none. Once I receive the new replacement tumbler, I will update this review accordingly.
8-16-16: Upon receiving the replacement tumbler today, I immediately filled it, along with the original one, with ice water, to compare them. It didn't take long to realize that the original one was indeed a defective unit which had lost it's vacuum (or never had it). Like it has been doing since day one, it formed condensation in a short amount of time. After several hours, the replacement tumbler was perfectly dry, even on this humid day.
Understanding that EVERY company that produces products will have SOME of those products defective in one way or another. No company produces perfect products 100% of the time. Because my original tumbler was proven to simply be a defective unit, and not a problem with the design, I cannot maintain a 3 star rating if I am to be objective. HOW a company handles their defects is what it's all about. And THIS company was second to none in standing behind this product. And the NON-defective product is fantastic and worthy of 5 stars, assuming it holds it's vacuum for a reasonable amount of time.
