My son is 5'5" so it fits him perfectly. He like wearing it right after a shower because it's very comfortable. Absorbs water like any towel because that is basically what the material is made from.
The hood is nice and large to cover your whole head and face so at the beach it's great, keeps you warm and protect you from the sun.

this poncho towel could be used as a beach or swim cover up and/or a changing poncho. it is of a conventional towel material so is good for drying up too.
the only thing is, the size is a bit small for me. I am between size L and XL; more times on the XL side. I'm 5'11" and 210lbs. Don't get me wrong; i can slip into this towel poncho and comfortably wear this at the beach and around the swimming pool, but i won't because 1) i'm a guy and 2) because the aesthetics design of this is a bit on the feminine side in my opinion.
With this current sizing, I can't really pull my hands into the poncho to change my clothing in it because it's too small for me to move around in it and can't really use this as a changing robe.
If you are smaller than me or a female with a small to mid frame then i think this would work for you.

I got this product for my wife so that she would have something that offered a dual-purpose:
1) She could take it to the beach with her on cooler days
2) She could use it when walking to the outdoor shower that we love to use in cooler weather. Basically, it could function as bathrobe of sorts.
Well, it does both of those things very well. It is super comfortable, the colors are "beachy" and the hood is a big plus. It is warm for those breezy, cooler days. The only problem is that my wife is relatively short (just over 5 feet) and the poncho is a bit too long for her. With no real way of shortening the length it is a bit impractical for her. But if you are a taller woman I am betting you will be very pleased with this poncho.
