I'm building a gravel bike from an old 3 x 7 Genesis 700C hybrid. The clunky stamped tapered square crank was rusty and heavy. Getting that off the frame took far longer than installing this crank. The bottom bracket is marked for left and right and threaded perfectly into the frame with only hand pressure.
This is the first snail chainring I've tried and I'm impressed. I don't have brakes yet so I've only run some tests around the block but I like this kit a lot. I went with the 36T but can see switching out to a 38T later on. It's nice to have the option to swap in a new chainring to fit riding style.
