It charges fast. It is very fast. Very comfortable. I'd buy it again. Although it says a 10 mile radius I would seriously doubt it.

I need portable oxygen tanks everywhere that I go (pic #2). Got the special carrying attachment for the tanks from Amazon as well. This wheelchair hauls them and me quite well! Because the tanks weigh so much, my husband put larger wheels (pic #3) on the tip prevention accessories behind the rear wheels (purchased from Toro). I also added side pouches for carrying all of those things that women need (Pic #1). To transport it, we take the tanks off, fold the W.C and my 84 year old hubby has no problem lifting it into the trunk of the car or up into the truck! I can lift it as well!! It backs, spins to turn around and goes forward beautifully. I've even used it in the house on carpeting. If I bump the speed to max, it will outrun my husband's Scooter. I just love it and would recommend it to everyone! Thank you to MOdest for making & selling such a great electric wheelchair!!

I purchased this chair for my husband early last year and he was very happy with it. The joystick quit working about 10 months after purchase. I contacted Rubicon as it was still under warranty, and after returning the chair, they sent me a brand new replacement!

I love my d4 blue wc. Its so easy to use joystick, i flip the joystick over when restaurants have low tables. The battery is easy to remove, 1 click on a button, no screws to remove it is designed to remove in 15 seconds and does.Since I don't need it at home , I leave wc in car trunk and we just recharge battery in the house. It has a USB socket in joystick so it can charge my iPhone or ipad (you need 2 different shortie USB cords). THE SPEED has 5 adjustments, my husbands walking speed in #1. So it shows what pep it has, easy to get over speed bumps. Battery lasts weeks. I use it for shopping, restaurants, dr visits and only have run it all the way down once. I may buy an extra charging cord if traveling. I use an add on cup holder, and a baby diaperbag backpack ( they are less expensive than the ones for wheelchairs) on rear to hold my "stuff" , and a nice gel seat cushion to prevent pain/pressure sores. I think it weighs slightly more than advertized but its light as electric wc go. Easily foldable too. Don't take the anti-tip wheels off as its lighteeight makes it tip prone without thrm. We also put electric tape over the audio hole where backup tone beep sound eminates from to dampen it (its too damned loud). Turns on a dime, so easy to maneuver, spins like a zero radius lawnmower. I love mine. To take the battery off just push the button and pull it off, you can charge it directly to the battery or from the joystick. We just unclick battery and charge it in the house leaving chair part in the car. The battery has a covered plug and gauge showing power left. I would love to buy a second battery for traveling back-up. What battery can be used. I am not paying $350 for an OEM battery .that is outrageous-i will go to Batteries bulbs plus Snd have my husband get one even if he has to go with another and weld it on. As for the weight yes the chair weighs 30lbs but that is without wheels, anti tippers, joystick and battery- each of these add to the 30 lb weight as it's completely assembled when you are taking it in and out of vehicles - even with all the removable things put on the wheelchair its still pretty lightweight. Probably closer to 40-45 lb. We both are in our 70's and both of us can put it in and out of the trunk or back seat.

What a fabulous find! This is a wonderful little power chair! I am 68 years old, I am a double below the knee amputee and I have carpal tunnel with arthritis so strolling in a manual wheelchair was becoming very painful. Now I can zip around in my little apartment with ease. I can do a 360 turn in front of my bathroom sink! I am very happy with this purchase! I would highly recommend purchasing this wheelchair!
