I love this cute squirrel feeder! It looks just like the picture. My only complaint is the description said it was made of cedar, but it is not. I simply used a waterseal to protect it.

I love my little table. The squirrels enjoyed it so much. We are redoing our fence so we just put the table on our deck and I do not recommend it. The squirrels knock it over really easily. Only downfall is the metal screw that holds the corn comes out super easy and has since the first use. Now it sitting inside until I figure out a stronger way to get the nail to stay so sadly the squirrels aren't getting their corn right now.

I almost canceled this order after reading bad reviews about poor quality of construction and materials but couldn't cancel as it was already prepared for shipment. I'm glad I didn't.
Perhaps the manufacturer got enough feedback to improve the quality of this feeder because what I received was well constructed. Some complained of the assembly but all there is to assemble is to screw the back (the piece that mounts to the tree) to the table and the holes are already pre drilled and comes with screws AND the holes were counter sunk to give you a flush finish after applying the screws. I added some wood glue to the sides before screwing/attaching the back.
Others complained that the screw that holds the Corn Cob didn't attach to the table????? Mine came with a machine threaded nut embedded into the table and a long screw that was machine threaded on one side (this screws into the embedded nut) and course threaded on the other side (with a sharp point) where you screw the Corn Cob onto the table. The Cob screwed down easily.
It comes with two large nails for mounting and two predrilled holes, but I used 2 1/2" drywall screws instead for ease of removal (we're moving in a couple months) and for added strength.
Super easy and sturdy and cute as hell.

The squirrels empty the seeds daily. The bluejays steal the peanuts. It was easy to assemble and i hope it stands up to the Seattle rain.
