The instructions were simple and we love all of the different lens options. A good gift for any age, and one of our favorite features is that you can use a cell phone to capture images. I was looking for a "more than just a basic" telescope for my daughter and came upon this. Assembly for this is easy and that carrying bag is a nice extra. Once you dial in the visuals/proper lens to the part of the sky you are interested in, you can get a surprisingly high quality of zoom and clarity with this. I like the precise control handle which helps you make small movements to tune it. The attachment for the phone can be tricky and doesn't work the best with a pixel 8 due to the cameras that bump out but it can still work. Got a couple good shots of the moon that are quite nice. Worth it to try this if you are in the market for a simple, yet quality scope.
