So good so far and it is easy to shut down or to open you just move it 45° and it's open all the way and I think the washer inside is made of steel which something I never saw before.

There are similar valves on sale here at Amazon. This valve is a heavier version and has a better ball movement than the others. The other version with the black plastic tab had failed in 5 months on the hot water line. This was chosen as a replacement and it longevity still needs to be assessed. However it appears to be a more substantial valve with a better fit and better ball handle at a lower price. I will definitely choose this the next time.
