Love this! Only down side is the head gear! It is difficult to adjust and if you have long hair you can't lock it in place

I've used a lot of helmets over the years. This is by far my favorite. Mig welded some tricky small tubing over the weekend and used this helmet for 3-4 hours. Worked great. The ability to see color instead of shades of green is something you don't appreciate until you use it. The side viewing ports are something i like as it gives you peripheral vision, which I think is a good safety feature. Knob at your left temple makes adjustment of the shade easy over a wide range, even though I didn't really need to use it much once set. This helmet worked so well that I could forget I was wearing it. Very pleased, especially for the price.

Both the pre-installed battery and the spare were too low on charge when I received them to activate the lens, but after placing under a bright light overnight, it worked fine. Ordered a few spares anyway. They are cheap. Nice that you get spare outer and inner shields. Nice that you can order a magnifier lens that slides in. Works fine if you wear glasses as well. Also an attractive helmet.

Took a little trial and error to get it adjusted properly for my big head, but once I got it, it was comfortable to wear.

So I really like the helmet and consider it a good value. No hesitation recommending it to others.

The Miller uses Batteries 5x Faster
And this has better View. Don't use often
But got tired of changing the batteries
The yeswelder is still on original batteries

I am a professional fabricator and weld a lot.

Pros. The price vs what you get. This is a deal especially for a student, amateur welder or someone that welds part time. For the welder that takes care of their equipment, this helmet would work. This helmet comes with a very, very comfortable headband that is simple and easy to adjust. You can wear this helmet for hours. The auto darkening lense is the best operating lense I have had so far. I haven't been flashed once yet in two weeks of operating this unit and its shade is equal across the lense. This helmet is lightweight and feels better balanced than other helmets I have had.

Cons. There is a slight level of visual distortion from the outer plastic lense. It has not been an issue while welding as its not enough of a factor to impede welding. The helmet feels thin and flimsy compared to other helmets, but on the upside, I don't think it'll crack as flexible as it is.
