Boats worked great, steered great, went fast, and were fun. They took on water and had no issues in the boats end of that. After the battery had died and while we were pointing our attention elsewhere, I was surprised to find the boats and remotes submerged in the water, I put them up immediately and let them dry. Today I took everything apart and tested them. The batteries were charged and took a charge well, the motors worked well by applying battery voltage to the terminals, the receiver part of the boat was sealed and did its job well by remaining sealed. The remotes..........the circuit boards in the remotes are not sealed and were destroyed by corrosion.

We got this set so our friends could race them around our pool at a summer party. The ran really well and easily made the 20 min run time as stated. The reverse function doesn't have much effect but not an issue for us.
