Comes with 8 balls and 4 paddles perfect for our family. We use them regularly to play. Haven't had the issue of the pads coming off the paddles... but, did have to file down the sharp edges with some sandpaper to allow our style of holding the paddles to work without hurting our hands.
We put the paddles back in the case when not in use and the carrying case works well for the storage.
Use only indoors with our new tennis table.
