so when you go to change a song or turn the screen on to change the songs or anything it starts skipping and glitching a lot. Its one of the better MP3 players of today because i have bough so so many on amazon here and this is the only one that hasnt broken immediately...

So long as your just listening to it and not touching it, it will run smoothly...
Once it got working it's a nice little product

Bought this hoping this would be a nice replacement for my iPod that's missing.

Unit looks and feels nice but I can't get the device to show on Windows 11. Two different machines, different cables, software/driver hacks no help. It's useless regardless of how nice it looks. Would NOT buy if I were you.

Edit/Update 4/28/23

Ok, so after seeing this review - the seller contacted me and offered to send a new unit. I told them I had already returned it and got a different one. They sent me a new one - got it in a couple of days. Their CS dept is solid. They get a 5 stars on this one!!!! Now onto some pros marred only by 2 cons

1. Getting this thing to get recognized by windows is tricky. I had already done alot of searching and tried troubleshooting everything I found to no avail before I returned it. The new one was doing like the first right out of the box. After asking, they emailed me a couple of options to try (CS did) and still no go. Frustrated, I quit troubleshooting. I came back to it about 3 days later and somehow "magically" it got recognized. But big thing - I got the device working and the unit is really slick Give it a 4 since I had so much trouble getting it to be recognized and I can't tell what really worked.

2. Playlists: Love the fact that you can create as many playlist you want. Playlists are a biggie to me. Unfortunately, I've been unable to import any playlists from computer - but it's pretty fast and easy to make your own on the device. This isn't perfect but good enough - maybe I'll dig further into why it's not recognizing my m3u files. Give it a 4

3. Radio: actually works with the supplied wired ear buds. It wasn't a biggie but of the ones I've seen this one does a really good job of picking up signal. 5

4. Memory/Storage: This is about the only real downside to the unit. I wish it had at least 2x the storage before the need to start using cards. Still all in all 4 on this as it's been my experience that most devices are hampered in how it operates on reading from cards. Just look at anything that uses them and you'll see tons of people pointing out how troublesome they can be. Since I have a collection over 500 gigs of mp3 files collected over the years - I will find out soon what limitations arise.

5. GUI interface - feels like using any phone nowadays. Touch screen with just two buttons on the bottom of the screen. Me likey! 5

6 Bluetooth: This thing has paired with everything I've tried to pair it with, and done it quickly and hassle-free. This one exceeded expectations where the others I've tried have failed miserably. 5

7 Audio: It's good but I think could be better. One annoying thing I've found is that connecting it via bluetooth (specifically in my car) is that volume control is left up to the mp3 player. Not the car's stereo. Point is that it's not loud enough for me. Street noise drowns it out. Bummer. Haven't used it with headphones or external speakers just yet. I do know that the ear buds that come with it aren't all that great - but wasn't really planning to use them all that much anyway. Built-in speaker is okay, just slightly better than listening on your phone. (no surprise there) 3.5

All in all this is a nice little unit - and at the price point it's a good deal. YMMV but this does what I need. Soon I'll be testing it out when mowing the lawn and I hope it's gonna be sufficient output to hear it
It works well enough for me, which is all I can ask for.

I should say up front that this is the first mp3 player that I have had since my ipod shuffle gave out years ago, so I do not have much basis of comparison. Also, this is a full featured player, but I am using solely for its mp3 functions. That said

On the positive the sound is great, even with the earphones that came with it. I do not have issues with accidentally hitting buttons while I put it in my sleeve, which seems a little thing but I find it frustrating otherwise. (To note, I bought the Ailzos Sports Running Armband to use with it and the player fits well in it.) On the positive the side buttons are tactile enough I can adject volume without taking it out of the sleeve.

Also, battery life is great. Though, I turn it off completely between uses, which extends life much. The negative to that is when you turn it on it will take a minute or two for the player to recognize all the songs/albums on it (I am used a 125 GB card.) You have to be patient with it there.

Loading music on it simple enough connecting it to my computer. Occasionally it spontaneously disconnects, but not enough to be aggravating.

On the negative: the screen is wholly blanched out
in sunlight, so you are going to have to find a shade tree to use it outside.

Worst on the negative is the instructions are not terribly helpful. I pretty much had to learn to use it entirely by trial and error. Now, it could be it is exactly like every other mp3 player so any experience will make it easy. But it took me a bit of fumbling about. Nonetheless, in the end, I've figured out all I need to.

To note I use it entirely to play albums. I have no idea how things go with folders and playsets.

And it has many functions beside being an mp3 player, none of which I have used so I cannot speak to them. But they are there. There are things I wish I knew now to do: things like add images to albums that presently do not have them. But I've only experimented a little.

I simply wanted an mp3 player to use while out jogging or doing yardwork. And to that end it works quite well. If there was one correction I would make to it, it would be the ability I had on my ipod shuffle to go backward and replay a song using the side buttons, so I did no have to take it out of the sleeve. But so it goes. (Perhaps there is that ability and I have not discovered it yet.)

For as far as I've used it, thumbs up.
+1 Year Review (2022-2023)

After a year of using this mp3, 5 days, 40+ hrs a week, I've found it's worth the money. Keeping it simple:
+1 for build quality
+1 for ease of use and portability
+1 for battery life (~8 hrs)
+1 for audio/video
-1 glitches and connectivity issues

Was originally in search of a music player to use during my busy work week. Needed something with a good battery life, easy to transfer music/video, Bluetooth connectivity and possible storage expansion just to name a few. After some research online, found this mp3 and decided to give it a go. It was about ~$50 at time of purchase and I'd say it was a good investment. For reference, my audio headset of choice was a Powerbeats 3.
Having met most all of my required criteria, I've been using it nonstop and found 1 major issue mixed with a couple others. The one major being it would disconnect from my headset randomly and wouldn't reconnect for random intervals of time but then would reconnect and otherwise be fine thereafter. Not sure if this is a one off problem but with my particular mp3, it was a regular occurrence. Other than that, the OS was fairly slow and was a disappointment compared to other devices on the market. Every time I would turn on the screen and go into a music file, the system would need to load everything and would take roughly 2 minutes, sometimes less, sometimes more, time of which you are not able to use anything on screen but would hear audio playback just fine. Despite having more or less music would not change this issue, imagine having to load every screen for 1-2 minutes and that's what it would be like. Again, not sure if this was specific to my device but it was there nonetheless. Other qualms would be with video quality but are to be expected as this not a "top of the line" music/video player. One last thing would be that the charging cable would not be properly seated upon insertion and would be disconnected with a generous tug. Not too big a issue as it would charge and connect to other devices just fine and have no other problems.
Toward the end of my devices life span, I saw that the screen would steadily be detaching from the body and I figured it was just sliding off due to failing adhesive. However, I one day pulled it out of my pocket to find it half detached due to an inflated battery. I am not sure what could have caused this. It is worth noting that the device has never been dropped or beaten in any way and I would simply chalk this issue up to being in a warm pocket for so long. It's also worth mentioning that the battery didn't explode but is expanded to the point where the screen was pushed off and the device no longer works (refer to pictures ).
All in all, it had a good run and I'd recommend it if you're looking for a easy use mp3 player with good battery and seemingly long life expectancy.

The first player I received had a number of problems, it couldn't read my loaded MP3 files and kept locking up. I contacted the vendor and the offered suggestions to correct the problem. When those didn't work they promptly replaced the player. The new unit works perfectly!
