I've bought the multi-count of this product - Red Lentil w/Butternut Squash Dal - half a dozen times at least. The flavor is absolutely amazing--one of my favorite quick meals! I would have given 5 stars except for a delivery issue this time. (I've tried to put this in "Leave Seller Feedback" but Amazon technical issues are preventing it.) In the past, the multi-count has always come with packets standing up in the cardboard "display box" as shown in the Amazon product photo. NOT THIS TIME. The bags were simply stuffed in a large plastic bag. Without the rigid cardboard protection, the bags squeezed together & one exploded en route! See attached pictures. It had to be thrown out. That's why I gave "value for money" 4 stars.

I love this stuff! It is very tasty, and has ingredients I love (i.e. butternut squash), but it isn't too spicy. I'm sensitive to chillies, so I need mild entrees, and this fits the bill perfectly.
My only issue is that sometimes I get only juice and no lentils and sometimes I get only lentils and no juice! It's a bit too expensive for what you get, and I usually put it over rice to make it enough for a meal. However, I'll be continuing to reorder it, because I love the taste.

This is the best of all flavors, in the best of all brands. We can only sometimes find it in the store, so tried Amazon. When we opened the first of 6 packets it was watery and hardly had lentils. The other packets feel different, and when the second one was opened it had plenty of lentils and was delicious. I can't really return the box because two are open, and the rest seem like they will be good. Sad about the consistency problem!

For me a package lasts 3 servings with rice so very economical too. Its a little thick so I add some vegan broth, add cooked rice and heat in my mini logic cooker. So grateful it doesn't have garlic and onions in it. Will definitely buy more. Packaging for the product is in a very thick non plastic product. I ordered enough so that they were sent in their own shipping box and it arrived fine. A heads up - I have found that when I need to have a product arrive undamaged, like food, I order it in a separate order. This works about 95% of the time.

It's great to have something cooked for lunch, and these lentils are so easy to prepare. Combine them with a packet of good brown (or red, or wild) rice product and you have a couple of lunches in a matter of minutes.
