Good field camera-very sensitive to movement, both day and night

Bought this as a second field camera. Set it up so I could compare new vs old cameras. And used remote access via the software onto my iPad.
New TO-02
Pro: Good pictures, very sensitive-had to turn down the sensitivity as it was picking up tree movements-lots. Good night shots-mostly of rabbits and coyotes. (not together). Easy to set up, but make sure you read the instruction book. Lots of options.
Medium: Not sure about the solar panel. It did work fine, but there isn't much choice as to placement of the camera if you want good solar charging. Old camera has a separate solar charger.
Con: This is my only real complaint. Both cameras use the same basic software (GamecameraPro-new one vs HuntingcameraPro) The program would randomly shut down. And no way to reboot it when it gets stuck in the set up steps. And at times it would also get hung up when down loading the pictures.
Conclusion: The TO-02 is a really good camera. Will continue to use it. If they would just fix the software now.

Very impressed overall. I have a few "game cameras," I use them for passive security (to document / review If* something bad were to occur) and this seems to be the best one out of many brands I have owned. Takes excellent video and photos, interface at camera itself is great because you can review captures at the camera if need, change settings, etc without going back to your PC, there is also an app you can control with bluetooth from your phone (haven't tried that) or you can just take out the SD card and do everything with your computer. The Latter is my personal preference but my cameras are also located near my home. If your cams are located in the middle of nowhere the on camera interface would be a life saver.
Love the fact this can take BOTH photos and videos at the same time. Most of my cameras are an either / or situation; just photos or just videos.
I was unaware when I bought this but there is also slots for AA batteries (not included) so you have both solar rechargeable power and normal AA backup for very cold days (lithium batteries generally do not like the cold) or if really bad weather prevented solar charging. Smart!
Camera installs using the pretty standard methods; either an articulating arm screw-in mount (attached to the camera with a universal threading common to most cameras / tripods) or via a strap. Both included. I use the strap because it is easy to relocate and adjust.

The media could not be loaded. It's solar powered which I like. A little confusing to set up because of tiny buttons and vague instructions. Not the most convenient to view the recordings because you have to bring the whole camera inside to plug it in to a computer. You can have it on photo mode or video mode, but not both. The videos it takes are about 3-10 seconds long. It's fun to play with and maybe I'll get some cool pictures of birds and squirrels. Would be fun for a kids toy.

The media could not be loaded. Camera works well. It's a little more confusing to set up than the ones that I'm used to, but with a little more reading and a little more practice I think I'll get to using it just fine, but as the first setup went through we had 848 pictures. Picture quality and resolution is excellent. Motion detection is really good, and better than I think any of the cameras that I currently own. Night mode seems to work as it should overall I would give it 9 out of 10. The major disappointment is the required Micro-SD form factor for the storage card. I still don't like the tiny cards, but I think that's something I'll just have to get used to. The problem is, when you're trying to pull cards, which normally most guys that use cameras do, if you drop one of them tiny little things down in the grass or in the brush it's harder to find than the standard SDXC.

My initial problem was connecting to the VOOPEAK Solar Trail Camera with my LG android phone. I finally found a procedure that works 99% of the time. If it fails I do a second attempt which works.
After pairing with Bluetooth I turn off Bluetooth on the phone. Then using the Wildlife Cam app I open the app, which asks to Allow Bluetooth, I allow and it immediately finds the camera, click the "+" sign and in a few (15-20 secs) it connects. Great camera, good pics and video.
To get the humming bird pics I needed to place the camera 2-3 feet from the feeder (about the min for focus) so the PIR could pick them up and trigger.
