They are the perfect size for customized or single-served side dishes or desserts. They are lighter than our other cast iron, but still sturdy and strong. The individual bamboo trays for serving look sharp and keep you from burning yourself on the hot metal when it is fresh from the grill, oven or smoker. They were a great find at a great price point.

These would make a fancy way of serving "mofongo" in a mortar, and the chicken broth in these gorgeous "little calderitos". And...they have their own bamboo trays! That's how certain fancy restaurants serve certain entrées! These cast iron bowls would add a very classy touch to anything you serve in your table...Spaghetti, lasagna, soups, your imagination would be the limit!
