the film is installed in the printer already. i thought they forgot to put in box. before you attempt to print, fully charge the printer completely. then download the app taking care to download the correct app. there's 2 that look very similar. the app is rather simple and doesn't allow for too much editing. i suggest you edit your photos in a real editing app and square crop them. the kodak app seems to over crop the photos. it also doesn't print 100% of what you see on the screen. it seems to crop more from top and left of what you see on the screen of the app. almost all of these types of printers do this. i have 2 instax printers, 1 polaroid printer, i canon selphy printer and 1 HP printer. they all do it to a certain extent. not sure why, but they do. annoying! it connects well via bluetooth in the app which is good. battery life is just ok so bring the adaptor with you. also be very careful loading the print cartridge. the film can get crumpled if not, ruining the first print. the prints overall look good. the value is not bad. the price should be less in my opinion considering they cost less to print online. it's just the convenience of instant photos anywhere you are that you pay 55 cents per print. i would suggest getting a hard case if you plan on taking it on your travels. its body is made of plastic that feels like it wouldn't survive a high fall or getting crushed in your bag. makes a good gift to teen or college students. also good for crafters. enjoy.

The photos comes out great , the photo paper is great and I can actually cut them to fit in a photo album if necessary. What was not so great was the app because it didn't import all of my photo albums like the album named favorites. The printer also automatically shut off too fast. I wish it could stay on for Atleast 5 minutes. The leather case allows me to access all ports after turning it on. The app could be improved more. Great gift

Besides the occasional to rare cartridge sub-dye "ink" jam, which can be very annoying and you have to remove the cartridge carefully - this print along with its "2x3" ratio variant have the best print quality I have seen so far in this size class + plus longevity of the print.

The Zinks image quality varies a lot, and its longevity isn't that great. It's' fun that it's sticker backed and that you waste less to the environment (i.e. no cartridges to recycle like the Kodak), but the image quality is definitively a step down from the Kodak.

The Fuji Instax Link printer can be nice but it's a bit blurry in print and a bit contrast-limited. I would still pick that over Zink.

Finally the cost per use of the Kodak seems unrivaled. Particularly for its print quality.

I love this, great for kids to use. I did expect a little more out of this. But overall I'm very happy!

I'm not a huge fan of the print quality. The pictures come out a lot brighter than they look on my screen so before I print a picture I lower the brightness. Which seems to work. Overall I'm happy with my purchase and it's great for the price.
