As so many of the reviews already say, this works well! I have thumb issues and am terrible about cutting myself when I chop things and this solves that problem.
There is a small learning curve, so you'll need to thoroughly read the manual (or if you're a visual learner like I am, I was able to find a youtube video for an identical product another another brand name ) in order to understand how to make cutting adjustments, but it does it's job very well and is reasonably easy to clean.
The only downside is that the food collection bin is pretty small so you have to empty it out pretty quickly depending on what/how much you're chopping.
Overall, love it and love having a way to chop fries and more without stress on my hands.

I use this to make apple chips. This is the safest mandoline I've ever used. It's very sharp and consistent - it actually cuts all the way through instead of just shaving bits off the edge and having to spin the apple around to get even cuts. It is fairly easy to clean but it did cut some bristles off my brush! My one complaint is that it can't fit normal sized apples into the loading chute - it's too narrow. It might be fixed by cutting off some of the apple first, but then it ruins the perfect round edge! Still, definitely the best mandolin I've used and will definitely recommend to others.
