It's just like my old one and love it. So, we have peeled and sliced 5 bushels of apples for canning and drying. We have 6 more bushels to go. This peeler, slicer, corer is a little workhorse. It has made our job much easier.

I hate eating apple peels because to me, it's like eating plastic. Peeling apples is a pain, so I hardly ate them at all. Now I eat them every day.
This peeler is well built, comes mostly assembled, and peels, cores, and slices apples like a champ! I love it. I had to make a slight adjustment to the blade, which is simple, but after that it worked great. Try to pick smaller, more round apples for best results.
I haven't tried it with potatoes yet, but I like potato skins, so I won't be using it for that. Highly recommended for apples though!

This makes peeling/coring/slicing easy. On a whim decided to try this. Easy, and cuts the prep time down to probably a minute tops per apple, and this includes putting them on and removing them, which is the hardest part. The crank is super easy to use; no hand fatigue for me. Far less waste this way than hand peeling and trimming, and the spiral rings make it easy to remove any bad spots without waste. 10/10.

We picked around 400 apples from a neighbors three apple trees (with their permission), used this to peal, core and slice them all and it is still in great shape. Came with two spare blades for the pealer and one for the corer, after 400 apples have not had to use them yet.
