I purchased this item on prime day for about $170. I absolutely satisfied with the purchase. I wanted a Berkey, but I just could not let myself spend $400+ on the model I wanted. This one is 2.9 gallons (not three). I've had it for almost a week now and so far so good. I fill the dogs' water bowls with it, use it for cooking water, and of course drinking water for me and the fam. I especially appreciate the stainless steel spigot and included stand. Those would cost extra with a Berkey! At some point, I'll probably replace the filters with Berkey filters, but I'm glad I saved $$$ on the unit itself.

Absolutely love this!! We have horrible town water and have been spending so much on bottled water. Hate the extra expense and the waste of plastic. This removes the taste and smell of chlorine! I'm a bottled water snob and love this water!!

I felt the quality is very good. Cannot imagine what more you would get by spending so much more money on some of the other units which are sold all over the internet. This even comes with 3 filters. After flushing the filters, the set up was a breeze. Within 15 minutes you can start filtering water. I did purchase a stainless steel spigot to replace the plastic one that was included. It's just a little extra protection!
