I purchased this product in July based on its multi functions, thinking it would be perfect in my classroom. When it arrived, I set it up and ran a few things through it to make sure it was working. My samples came out great; however, the cutter on top did not work well. I had to run it back-and-forth four or five times to get a clean cut. I figured that wasn't such a big deal, so I packed it away to bring into my classroom in August. I unpacked it last week and prepared some materials to laminate. I had to run a couple of things through twice to get them to seal and then a few pages came out a mess. The paper on the left in the picture was jammed inside. It's too late to return it which is very unfortunate.

I purchased this laminator to keep some wood working plans and a few recipes my wife wanted preserved. The package was on time well protected and boxed. Very easy to use. The laminator is well constructed. It's not very many merchants who offer a two year warranty and a surprise gift also. This is an excellent unit as it comes with the paper cutter right out of the box. One thing to watch is that it does not heat correctly for the first use, and I almost sent it back. This I am assuming because of the oils etc on the heating element during manufacturing. I did give this unit a second chance and it heated up quickly and sealed perfectly. I am glad I tried it for a second seal as I now love this unit for it's speed to heat and seals in one pass.

I love that it's a laminator and paper cutter in one! It is nice and compact and saves the space of having 2 things. It heats up quickly and laminates nicely. My only complaint is that neither the paper cutter nor the laminator work for 8.5 by 11 paper. The laminating sheets just fit the paper, not leaving any space on the side to seal. The paper cutter isn't quite wide enough for the 11 in side of the paper so I end up having to finish about an inch of the cut with scissors.

Support was very helpful. If you want to laminate and cut an 8.5 by 11, I would recommend the A3 version.
