• •Bignonia capreolata 'Tangerine Beauty' or Cross Vine is an aasy to grow, self-clinging vine that grows rapidly and can quickly cover a trellis, arbor, fence or other supports and surfaces.
• •It is a fast growing and a showy, prolific warm season bloomer. Plants enter a winter dormant phase as nights cool down and days get shorter and then begin to set buds as the wake up in the Spring and continues to cycle into bloom throughout the warm season.
• •Flowers are bright colored red-orange tubular trumpets in shade of peach and tangerine with yellow throats. They are rich in nectar and attractive to butterflies and other pollinators. It is a food source plant for adult pollinators, however caterpillars do not tend to feed on the foliage excessively.
• •Cross Vine can be grown across a broad range of climates and is recommended for USDA Zones 6, 7, 8, 9. It does not adapt easily to indoor conditions and may require special accommodations for overwintering in colder zones beyond the recommended range. Young plants should be protected from freezing temps until they become well established.
