Bought two of these. First one worked great for three months and just quit, when I contacted the seller they wanted me to run through a series of tests and to send photos of them. Since I could run tests or do my job I prefer to pay my bills. Found out I can buy these at a local store, if I have an issue they will take care of me.
After I made this supplier of my issues with their return policy that corrected my problem and replaced the defective
product with a brand new one free of charge!

The media could not be loaded. This is my 3rd smart solar-powered battery maintenance panel from Sun Energise. They have always been totally reliable, maintenance-free, and this one is no different. I hooked it right up to one of my classic vehicle batteries and that was it. It topped up the battery in a day and now just maintains it, worry-free. I don't need to worry about overcharging or coming out to a flat battery ever. Highly recommend.

The solar panel is sturdy and well constructed. I very happy with this item especially the value for the price. This is a high quality solar-powered battery charger that will keep 12V batteries at full charge and ready to use. I tested it with several SLA (Sealed Lead Acid) batteries in the 7 to 100 amp-hr. range and it performed beautifully. It could easily maintain a car or truck battery at full charge without any problems. Comes safely packed with everything you need. Panel, controller, cables. This solar trickle charger works perfect and is a great product. I would buy it again. Highly recommended!!!

Seems like a good idea. I think it works well if there isn't a load on your battery and it just needs topping off. I tried using this in an RV setting. When the battery was fully charged it did well. However, if cell phone chargers dropped the voltage to at or below 9 volts it quit working. It would just flash like it wasn't getting good sun.
However, start up the vehicle and all of sudden without moving it then it said the sun was good and it was working.
I tried putting on the dash and inside the vehicle. It warped in about a week. Not sure why, other plastic things on the dash right next to it didn't have this problem.
I tried placing on the roof of the vehicle with the generous cord size. Strangely, it didn't improve performance. If the battery is fully charged then it on green steady and shows working. But if your battery drops low which is when you need it the most, it quits working and just blinks green.
It probably very useful in other applications.

Edit support reached out to me and replaced the unit and helped me understand how to use it. It will keep a battery topped off. It isn't designed to keep up with a 3.2 amp charger. Works as intended.

Have used this product for a little more than a week. It was well packaged and arrived quickly. It seems to be watertight and well made, and charges my trolling motor quite well. I recommend this if you have a reasonably small 12v system that needs charging in the elements.
