Very small and well made

First up this thing is really, really tiny. Probably best for a small camera. I am using it with a window mount for mounting 10x42 binoculars for wildlife viewing.
Lightweight and still feels very solid. Hard to beat for the price. Nice enough that I will also see what the next step up in size is for a tripod.
Only knock is diminutive size. Everything else is A+

Great for Hunting and Videography

Videography is my profession, and hunting is my passion.
For the videographers - this head is small and lightweight. It goes on my travel tripod. When I'm in the field for hours with a small tripod attached to my camera bag, it's my go-to. The panning and tilting are great. I have a Canon 80D and an R6. Both are sturdy with small zoom lenses and just about any prime lenses. I don't think I would use it with my 70-200mm Tamron.
For hunters - this pairs great with my lightweight Sirui tripod. It's exponentially better then the ball head that came with it. The head works perfectly with my binos and my 65 mm spotting scope. An 80mm spotter should do fine. The head is smooth enough that I can make small adjustments. Only question I have with it is durability. It should do fine in most applications, but if you are in the backcountry, take care not smack it on any rocks.

UPDATE -- It won't lock down

UPDATE:
After my initial review, I received emails from SmallRig customer service, offerred me a full refund and a replacement for the tripod head. I accepted a replacement. It arrived yesterday. It appeared fully locked when I tested the head by itself. But after I installed it on a tropid, with the leverage of handle, the tilt could still move no matter how hard I tried to lock it. I think it's just too much to ask for a small head. I am using it for a spotting scope, so it should be ok. That said, Samllrig customer service is absolutely top-notch. That's sincerely appreciated!
Original Review:
I bought this one for a light weight travel tripod kit for my spotting scope. It's light weight all right, but it won't lock down firmly, so the scope still moves. It'll do for me as of now but it's not a good long term solution.
