I bought this for security while camping. Also to capture wildlife at remote camp sites on public land. Rain didn't damage the camera so it is pretty watertight.

Handy to have if you leave your rig and are gone for several hours. This camera is nearly invisible if you mount it in a good spot and use thin paracord to secure the camera to a tree. It's usually the included strap that gives away the camera's location, not the camera.

I used this camera for about 6 camping trips and then gave up on it. I got tired of checking it every day to make sure the batteries were good and the SD card wasn't full. It was also time consuming to go through all the pictures every day. Most of them were worthless because tree branches and even bugs would start the camera. Of course I needed to remember to take the camera with me before leaving camp.

The camera worked well during the night and day. No complaints. Good for security and monitoring what animals are roaming your property or camp especially at night while you sleep. However it won't work if the batteries are dead or the SD card is filled.

It got old after a few weeks of checking the batteries and taking the SD card out every day to watch pictures and videos on my laptop that were mostly worthless. Batteries don't last long on days when the camera takes a lot of pictures.

Yes I know you don't need to take the SD card out to watch pictures and sometimes I did that, but they're easier to see on a big screen. Also I would save some pictures on my laptop before putting the card back into the camera and formatting it.

For me, even one trail cam required more time to baby sit than the pictures were worth. However there are situations and applications where it's very nice to have. I take it camping with me all the time, even though I haven't been using it. 5 stars because it is a good low priced camera.

I put this camera out in February, 2023. It was very user friendly during the set up and easy to mount. It has done really well in catching animals and even birds in flight. Picture quality is good and night shots are good as well. We had a rain storm in June of this year and moisture got into the camera. I contacted customer support and Cassie got back to me right away. She suggested a couple of things to try and when the camera did not work, she had a new camera on the way to me very quickly. I have the new camera in hand, delivered the day before the "arrive by" date. To me, responsive customer support gives confidence in the quality of the camera since they are so quick to respond and stand behind their warranty. Great job Casssie!!!!!

I ordered this Camera due to the Price. I was having problems with my melons missing from my Garden. I attempted to use my old Game Camera which hadn't been used in 18 years with no results. I didn't want to spend a bunch on a Game Camera that I would hardly use. This camera fit the bill for me to capture pictures of my melon thieves. Believe it or not, it was deer. They would pick up medium size melons and carry them off into the farm lands behind my Garden. The night pictures are in Black and white. Weren't the best of quality since the deer were about 100 feet from the camera, but were clearly identified. I read a poor review stating that one ruined two memory cards. THE MEMORY CARDS DO NOT GO IN WITH THE WRITING FACING UP IN THIS CAMERA. YOU INSERT AS I DESCRIBE UPSIDE DOWN. IF YOU LOOK AT THE SIDE OF THE CAMERA WHERE THE CARD GOES IN, IT SHOWS IT. NOW THE CARD IS A LITTLE DIFFICULT TO REMOVE UNLESS YOU HAVE SOMETING TO WORK IT OUT WITH. It seems the card goes in a little more when you close the case and almost flush with the side. I use the tip of my pocket knife to slightly pull it out enough to grab with my old fingers!!!! REMEMBER THIS IS NOT A $100 OR MORE CAMERA, BUT WELL WORTH THE MONEY FOR MY USE.

I purchased 2 cameras, they take great pics and the videos are so real. Customer Service is great they helped me get my cameras started. I would recommend buying them.
