My car jump starter got this guy's truck started he was on his way in minutes.
It's not just for me....

I bought this during Prime day deal and was leary about it. I had always wondered if something this small could actually do what it said. However, shortly after getting it my battery died and I needed a jump. No one was around and so I had to get to work somehow. I hooked it up and it worked like a charm. Got my car started up quick. I definitely recommend everyone have something like this on case you ever get stranded. Could be a real life saver.
Plus you can use it as a flashlight and to charge your devices when needed. Great item.

There are a number of angry reviews by customers who learned by reading the manual that the product does not come with a charge adapter. Naturally, we all went looking to buy the missing charge adapter on both Amazon and the NexPow site to find nothing, nada, zilch. One does find adapters not rated to work to charge a 4000A power source, which compounds the confusion. What the manual needed to say is "For recharging, a USB adapter cable IS supplied with the unit. Plug one end into the Q11 and the other to a wall USB. The unit's indicator lights will reveal the recharging progress." Needless frustration comes when manufacturers do not have their manuals proof-read.

Some negative reviews I read here also seem for different NexPow models even though the reviews are posted here for the Q11 4000A.

This is an absolute no brainer to have in any vehicle. Lightweight, small, and extremely powerful.

I have an SUV that keeps losing its battery once or twice a week, making it unable to start, and I've been unable to get a replacement battery or test the alternator simply due to my own scheduling. And did I mention that finding someone for a jump is embarrassing and time consuming? It sure can be.

I got to the office early this morning and tried starting the car once I got here just to see if there was going to be an issue later today, and wouldn't you know it, it wouldn't start. So I ordered this with same-day delivery, and by lunch time I had it in hand.

It came already fully charged, so all I had to do was pop the hood, connect this thing, verify polarity with the built-in indicators, wait for the green "go" light, and start up the car.

Now, the starter in my vehicle doesn't normally crank very fast, even with a full battery. It just kinda chugs along. And the battery is a 900 amp cold start, which is a lot. So I expected about the same when starting the car with this attached. This thing at 1500 amps made the starter crank like it had no resistance at all. Absolutely amazing power out of it. And the indicator lights showed a full charge still, even after that jump. I have no doubt it would jump the advertised 20 times before being fully drained.

I'm buying one for my wife's car immediately, and one for each of my kids for Christmas. Very, very much worth the price.

I do wish it had a carrying case that came with it, but they are available on Amazon as well, so be sure to get one of those cases when you order this.

I bought this jump starter for my wife who travels a lot for dog shows. At 2200 amps, it had no trouble starting her Ridgeline when the battery registered 11.2 volts and I expect it to work fine in most climates given its operating temperature range of -20 C to ~60 C. The cable lengths are about 11" for the positive and 8.5" for the negative giving a maximum spread of about 13" by the time you actually hook the alligator clips onto the terminals. The alligator clips feel about the same quality as my other jump starter, and I had no issues with their spring tension. The starter came with an 85 percent charge and took about 90 minutes to bring it to 100% using the USB C (5V3A) port. The unit does not come with a charger, so I used my iPad pro charger (the manual states that any charger that supports a USB cable should work fine). There are two other USB ports (both are output only), a USB 3.1 port (5V/3A, 9V2A, 12V/1.5A) that fast charged my Samsung phone, a USB 2.0 port (5V/2.1A), and a DC output (12V/10A) port. The unit comes with a USB B to USB C cable, a "cigarette lighter" adapter, and a nice carrying case. The USB C port can be used in either direction "“ to charge the jump starter (in) or to charge electronics (out). The LCD screen shows the current charge level when you turn it on, flashes the charging level when the jump starter is charging and shows the volts/amps when the starter is charging your electronics. The flashlight / SOS is about as bright as my phone light but more focused. The user manual needs a little work on the English, but it is passable. Overall, I found the unit of good quality and very versatile.
