Works as advertised. Easy to setup, easy to use. Super convenient because it does not require an app install on the user's computer. This was used in various conference rooms, signal strength was good in those use cases as the distance between the units were within the advertised range.

Using in a church with about a 60' range. Works well.
We also have a wired method of running dual projectors, and both work without issue.
I found if the Dongle isn't sufficiently powered, it will not work. Using a single USB C port hub off a MacBook for both power and running the HDMI didn't work as planned. Same for HP Z-Book. Using separate USB C ports for the hub converter, and powering the dongle was the resolve.
Dongle LED light brightness is a clue. If it's not clearly visible, there's not enough power. Nice that it blinks when it's trying to connect. Goes solid when it gets a good connection. There's a few seconds delay between connection and signal showing on the projector.
Running with an external battery, or using another USB C port to power worked on 2 of 3 computers. Tried with Microsoft Surface using a Mini DisplayPort adapter. Still trying to get that to work. Didn't try with the Surface powered (used an external battery). Still trying to see if I can get that to work.
When the device doesn't connect it pushes a message with troubleshooting, which initially was helpful. However, the image rotated 90 degrees, so it's basically unreadable (off the projector). Nevertheless, you can see that it's pushing a signal, which makes troubleshooting easier.
Have used several times now with a HDMI splitter to switch between the video booth and the presenter at the podium. There's about a 5-7 second lag. Some computers don't "reconnect" when using the switcher. That's a computer issue, not the Wireless Transmitter. Concluded because lower end less capable laptop is the one that requires restarting the PowerPoint, and then it reconnects.
Have yet to try taking a laptop down the hallway just for fun to see when it cuts out. In the sanctuary works great.
Also plan on testing with 60" TV in another part of the facility. Current wired tethering is cumbersome. May purchase a 2nd one for that device as well. We could also use that room for overflow with no wiring.
We recently upgraded our network with hubs. I recall we have 7k sq ft coverage. Not sure how this would work with lower bandwidth network.

Works Well for Streaming Audio for Projector to Soundbar

I'd purchased this for a bit of an unconventional purpose and so far, it's managed well (albeit with a few caveats). My surround sound soundbar is at the front the room that my projector is in, right under the projected image (where it should be), but I'd have to run an HDMI cable to it and back to the projector for proper pass-through. Because this would be a real pain and involve a lot of wires, I'd looked for a wireless solution. This involved me getting a good splitter with EDID and splitting the signal from my 4K Fire Stick, one signal goes to the projector, the other goes to this device. The receiver goes on my soundbar.
At first, the results weren't too great, likely because it was sending a 4K signal with surround sound through the air and I was expecting a real-time result. After connecting to the device's WiFi and going through the configuration, I'd set the resolution to the lowest option (since only audio mattered for me) and finally there was minimal lag and no disruption. To get Lip Sync working with the projector (since the signal was split) I just used the settings inside the FireTV to delay the video slightly. The delay is consistent and minimal so the FireTV settings worked fine for this.
If you're using this to send a video signal, you should be fine -- even up to 4K, but additional technologies at that resolution (e.g. Surround, Dolby Vision, etc) are likely going to result in the audio/view freezing intermittently.
All in all, this is pretty impressive for what it is considering the bandwidth required for HDMI.

We have an AVR that would create a slight ground loop buzz when the hdmi would be run in-wall from the receiver to the TV. Tried various ways to isolate the buzz, but the preexisting conduit that was run in the walls of the house pass closely to electrical wires. Tried an optical hmdi cable and also tried ethernet extenders - same buzzing results. Picked up this wireless transmitter and receiver combo, and problem solved. The distance is only about 15 feet between the two, so can't comment on longer distances, but no delay, no buzz, and no issues.
