This is our 3rd monitor and our baby is not even 1 yet :') I was influenced by someone on Instagram to try this one out - We had a different model of this brand monitor that stopped working (I think it was an older type model). So far this one has been great, the picture quality is great and the VOX works well and the battery life has been good as well. Time will tell but we have had this one about a month now. I had the leapfrog one and it was great until it literally turned demonic lol the lights and noise on it started acting up and just awful. SO this one has been a life savior so far. Will update later to see how long it lasts.

We had decision paralysis and couldn't decide which monitor to get for our baby's room! Now that she is 5 months old we decided to move her to the nursery but that meant choosing a monitor.

Our desires were 1) 2 cameras so we can use the same system when we have a second child some day (we wanted split screen to view both at once) 4) need a parent device 3) we wanted wi-fi to view from our phones as well

While this unit does have wi-fi we are pretty happy with it overall.

Pros:
â–ªï¸two cameras, don't need split screen because it can automatically switch between the cameras! "”- we have both set up in baby's room right now!
â–ªï¸ VOX mode for night time. monitor will stay off until there is noise and then it will flip on
â–ªï¸Easy user interface
â–ªï¸Pan/swivel and zoom feature are helpful
â–ªï¸so far good range and minimal connectivity issues in our home

Cons:
â–ªï¸No adapter mount!!!! We were very annoyed to find that most cameras have a threaded insert that accepts many mounting adapters. These cameras don't have that threaded insert so we had to get creative with mounting them. This is very irritating and hello baby doesn't even offer their own wall mount or crib mount systems. SO FRUSTRATING. We ended up rigging it with double sided 3M strips but that doesn't feel as secure / safe as just screwing it onto a mount.
â–ªï¸No wi-fi - this is a con for us but not a huge deal. I know a lot of people avoid wi-fi.
â–ªï¸You have to go into the menu to turn audio on / off. Wish there was a quick click button to flip between sound on and sound off.
â–ªï¸image quality could be better but i think that's true of most baby monitors
â–ªï¸no built in clock. this is annoying because i always want to check the time when i am checking on baby and it would be so easy and convenient to have it be on the monitor.
â–ªï¸the cameras can play music and this is an unnecessary feature. if anything they should play white noise, not music.

I love this monitor setup. This was our second as we had another from a separate brand beforehand that broke, we also had just a a noise receiver with no camera and out of the three this has been our favorite camera system. I appreciate them not being attached to Wi-Fi or an app, I like that these can't be as easily hacked (at-least remotely) like those that connect to the internet can. This one is full of features and apparently you can even add a second camera while keeping a singular monitor (parents of multiples would love this i am sure)
We have had this one for months and the clarity and the sound quality have not diminished at all. I love how easy the setup is to move and the battery life on the monitor is awesome, it can go all night without being plugged in. The alert it gives off when the battery is low is enough to wake me up which I also appreciate for those nights I accidentally forget to plug it in. It has so many features that lets you know it was made with parents in mind, the dark screen while still being on, the microphone to talk through the camera, the wide camera range, the sound bar that lights up from green to red when baby cries or something is too loud. Really love this monitor, if it broke I would buy it again immediately.

I was determined to get a camera that did not need WiFi or it's own account and I was recommended this one by a friend. I love it so much! The quality stays the same whether it's day or night and the battery on the monitor lasts a while (accidentally left it on for a whole 24 hours and it still had one battery bar left). I love that I can rotate it and change the angle of the camera via the monitor as my child loves to move a lot on their sleep. I especially love that I can keep the volume down on it and use the lights at the top of the monitor to tell whether there's noise being made. I highly recommend this baby monitor!

I have had an earlier version of this baby monitor for four years. I have carted it across the country in cars and planes, used it with 2 and 3 cameras at a time, and accidentally let a toddler throw it to the ground many times. Here are my pros and cons of this brand as a whole:

Pros:
-No Wifi. That was an important point for me.
-Reliable and pretty hardy. Survived my kids messing with it and four years of use pretty well.
-The cameras (and now, in this newer model) the monitor use the same power cords, which is handy
-It's not crazy expensive
-In the older model the night vision was so-so, in this newer one it's great, and the view is very clear.
-I love being able to talk to them on the microphone.
-The thermometer might not be accurate (depends on where you have the camera situated, if there are things around it insulating the sensor, or if it's right under a vent, etc) but they are very consistent. I learned pretty quickly what temperature on the monitor was "too hot" and "too cold" for my kids to sleep comfortably.
-The buttons are easy to understand and hold up really well.
-Battery life is pretty good, though (like with all tech) it does start to drop off after about 2 years of use.
-The range is longer than I expected. I don't know the exact distance but it's never been too short for our uses and works when we are downstairs or right outside on the porch and the kids are upstairs.

Cons:
-The screen is a little bright at night, even on the lowest setting. This isn't a huge deal, but if I could remake it however I wanted I'd change that
- I'd like it better if the time was visible on the screen. Again, not a huge thing but it would be nice.
-When multiple cameras the only way to view them is one at a time, so the monitor automatically switches between them. Personally, I don't mind this, but it might be a con for some.
-it's not as fancy feeling as some cameras out there.
-If the volume is off and the battery starts to die the beeping that alerts you that it's turning off is also muted. This is kind of annoying as you may not realize it's shutting down.

All in all, I'd recommend this brand, but I'd advise you to upgrade every three years and not wait quite as long as I did.
