I purchased the bike as a Christmas gift for my wife and choose it because she did not want "an electric moped""¦ she wanted a pedal assist electric bike. It does not have a lot of power and forces a person to pedal.
Me on the other hand wanted a powerful bike that would run balls out and fast with no pedal assist at all. Lazy! So she bought me the Heybike Explorer.

This is my first e-bike I purchased for my wife as a Christmas present. It came about 80% assembled and easy to read instructions. When I had a problem, I called the customer service line and they were very helpful. I have ridden the bike 4 times and it handles very well. My wife and I love the full size frame and big tires which grab the road good. The battery has lasted 3 days without a charge so far. It has a good amount of power for what we need in our 60's. The only problem is it is very heavy but sturdy. The seat hurts after riding a while so I will purchase a better seat. Other than that, a Great experience and I may get a bike for myself.
Assembly instructions are vague.

Nice bike. Had to replace the controller but Schwann was quick to do that. Assembly instructions are based on a YouTube video that left me confused. Actually had the handlebars on backwards. The bike itself is nice and rides well. Replaced the seat so that momma was more comfortable riding it.
