This glove, one for each of my grandsons, 7 and 5 years of age, is their beginning welcome to the world of baseball. The gloves seem to be the right size, not too big that they can't control it in their hand, and certainly not too heavy. A semi soft ball will be added soon. I am a firm believer in success motivation, let them each find their way in enjoying the sport yet I wish to do all I can to "smooth the waters." My grandmother gave me prayer, my grandfather a love of nature. I plan to leave these boys a love of a great game. Is it all peaches? No, but that's also part of the process too. One tip; let your player try the glove a few times before a decision is made to keep or return. Go Mariners!!

Bought this one a few times only to realizes the incorrect tag was attached to the glove but the size is intact correct at 10.5 inches. The incorrect tag says it's for ages 3-5 which is incorrect. Glove works great for me 7 year old daughter.
