I love this chalk paint! It is my go-to when I'm working on farmhouse style furniture. It goes on smooth with a beautiful finish.

Okay so first off I am in no way claiming I am a professional. I don't want to or have it in my budget to purchase any new furniture during this time soooo... To keep my mind occupied and freshen up things since I've moved from a huge home to a tiny home. The huge home was okay to have some dark furniture but having it here makes the rooms very depressing, cluttered and just blah... Plus it's every furniture I purchased over the 18 years of moving and growing and being into certain themes. So! Fresh look of white it is like how I grew up in Hawaii. Everything was White with Koa wood furniture but literally white walls, white furniture white this white that. You don't need to have colored furniture or walls since the views of the outside year around is colorful. Well I'm going back to the way I grew up lol with a little gray, ivory to throw in there.
here is my review on the product.
Linen White arrived sealed and I ordered this along with other paints and polyurethanes in the dead winter months in Michigan. Just now as it is warming up in April I am able to start projects. Item's came in super sealed boxes with silver caps on top to make sure no seal breaks. Upon painting the 2 small doors for my entertainment center. I noticed it takes two good coats. I purchased chalk paint brushes on Amazon not that expensive, it was a kit that came with 3 different size boar brushes, wax, paint stick, plastic knife, pair of gloves and a sand paper block. I got it for $25
followed the directions to prep the brushes for painting.
I left 1 brush a tad bit damp to have very thin coats. Took a dry boar brush and simply blended quickly as it dries quicker then any other paint I've used. So be mindful of that. I decided not to use a glaze or the wax as some stated in reviews that it turned color or started flaking. I did rough sand it a bit before painting so it would stick to the actual material. It's not real wood so there is still prepping. Sand, dusted with an air hose then damp cloth to wipe, let it air dry in the sun, used a vacuum with the bristle brush attached to get any other dust that may have been on there. I'm nervous to proceed with the rest of the entertainment center lol but it is a learning curve and you won't know if it works until you do it.
Although this Small paint can has been used on after prep
Dresser 54" x 29" 1/4
6 drawers 2 coats of paint
Entertainment Center Doors 2 coats on both sides
Oversized Wall clock 38" x 38" 2 coats
and used to distressed a pallet wood sign
I still have a can that is half full. I will order another can along with the aged gray and chiffon color
Just remember Linen White is bright white! I thought it would be a little less white but it makes my white doors and window trimming along with the base boards look like a dirty white. May have to have the bf paint over the white base boards lol jk jk idc 😂
