This has been a lot of fun to use. I no longer hunt, but still love wildlife viewing. Both my wife and I are avid birdwatchers. Although still quite new, we have had it out on a ten day camping trip and used it quite a bit. We were able to see some raptors in the trees at nite, and were surprised to see how much fields and clearings came alive at night with rodents. I won't suggest that you can ID a bird from what you see, as the resolution is to low for that, but it does allow you to find them and then bring binoculars or spotting scope to bear on them. I would really love a chance to try out a higher resolution unit to see what I'm missing, but this is a great value in my book. Even my wife who is harder to excite on things like this loves using it.
