This table is amazing. I've always wanted a kotatsu but thought it wasn't going to be a possibility because of potentially needing a converter and how expensive some of them are. This table is perfect! It's a great size and weight, the price was perfect for our budget. We did get a foam mat to put under it but you could definitely use cushions or pillows for a little extra comfort. So far we ran it on low heat for about 15 minutes to get cozy and try it out. Can't wait for winter to come! Best purchase I've made all year :)
It came in a rather large flat box via UPS. It did say I needed to sign to receive my package however UPS just dumped it downstairs so that was a little frustrating. I cancelled plans to be available to sign for it. Hit or miss on how yours will be delivered I assume.

We got the big one because the plan is to use it for D&D and other gaming. The 4 cats are glad there is room for them all as well. It's beautiful quality, super easy to assemble and is supremely cozy. I love that the grill over the heater doesn't get hot-to-touch, so there's no danger of burning a knee when shifting around. It's nice that the temp is adjustable, too. Great design with a clip and a hook to route the cord away from legs. We've only had it one day so far, but we are in love!
Just like my table when I lived in Japan!

I used to live in Japan and have been wanting a Kotatsu even since moving back to the usa in 2018, but they are so difficult to find here. This table is very nice quality and a great price, too! I'm so glad I finally got one again! I got the big one because we're a tabletop gaming household, and it did not disappoint for that. The only downside is that it's really difficult to find the needed blanket/comforter and mat/rug to go with it at this larger size, so it would be nice if there was an option here to purchase a combo or if this company would also offer those, too since this is a larger than average sized kotatsu. Even in Japan it's a struggle to find this size's accessories, so it's near impossible in the USA. I had to use a queen sized duvet and duvet cover in the end, which is less than ideal. Overall, it's still wonderful and worth it. I'm trying to figure out if there is an on/off switch when plugged in or if there is only a on setting with low rather than off and unplug it completely to turn off.
